Do the words “Joint Terrorism Task Force” strike as much fear into American citizens, when used to terrorize an innocent citizen, as the initials SS did to citizens of Nazi Germany? If so, can we simply close our eyes and allow that practice to continue and not be as culpable as those German citizens were for the actions of Hitler's SS?

To whom it my concern,We have been informed that Federal Judge Kent J. Dawson sent Reuben Bugtong, whose calling card (See copy above) job description is “Criminal Investigator Joint Terrorism Task Force” to intimidate members of the Henderson Stake of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. We know of at least one family Mr. Bugtong and another unidentified man visited. Then, the next day, Mr. Bugtong apparently followed the Patriarch of that family to Freedom Books located at 444 East Sahara Avenue Las Vegas, Nevada. After entering that establishment and identifying himself Mr. Bugtong would not state his business with witnesses in attendance. So, after he was told by Mike Golden, a radio talk show host, that his conversation with that Patriarch would be taped he broke off his attempted interrogation.Judge Dawson was the presiding judge during the trial of Mr. Irwin Schiff for controversial income tax related crimes. During the course of that trial Judge Dawson claimed he was receiving threatening letters which, if judge Dawson really did receive such letters they would have been sent by a crackpot who is not evolved with Mr. Schiff or the Truth in Taxation Movement. Or, in our opinion were sent by government agents to discredit or use against Mr. Schiff and those of us that only use legal options to defend ourselves against government abuse.Judge Dawson is also the president of the Henderson Stake of the Mormon church. Due to the fact the United States Constitution is considered to be a holy doctrine within the Mormon Church Judge Dawson is under fire from members of the Henderson Stake for his violations of Mr. Schiff’s Constitutional rights. This fact is making some of the members question the validity of Judge Dawson’s Ecclesial Church Calling which is jeopardizing his Stake Presidency.Any legitimate investigation regarding the supposed threats to Judge Dawson would be understandable and we believe would fall within the purview of the FBI or The U.S. Marshals Service. However, because no member of that family has ever done anything that could be considered a threat to Judge Dawson, there was no probable cause for anyone within the U.S. government to take such actions. We believe these facts prove the sole purpose of intimidating that family was to stop them from talking about Judge Dawson's unconstitutional rulings during the Schiff trial to other member of the Henderson Stake.Sadly, this belief is bolstered by Mr. Bugtong’s intimidating tactics having caused that Patriarch to be concerned his honoring Jesus Christ with his family at the Henderson Stake will open his family to more intimidation by Federal Judge Kent J. Dawson and Mr. Bugtong.The questions we ask are, “Even if a federal Judge was threatened by a disgruntled friend of anyone convicted in his court of violating tax laws, prostitution or fishing for rainbow trout our of season what does that have to do with the war on terrorist?” And, “Was it Congress’s intent that the awesome power of the “Patriot Act” be used to intimidate innocent members of a religion for the personal benefit of a federal judge’s standing within that religion?”Obviously Judge Dawson's use of any federal agents for personal reasons violates federal law. But, when you consider the fact the public’s perception of criminal investigators from the Joint Terrorism Task Force is they can invoke the “Patriot Act” which allows them to violate citizen’s rights such as,1. Confinement with no benefit of counsel or notice to anyone of such confinement.2. Torture3. The degradation of the scriptures of that person’s religious faith.4. Accidental or purposeful manslaughter without fear of repercussions or accountability.5. Use of special letters allowing seizures without court oversight including barring the citizen from informing any person of such seizures including their spouse or legal counsel.Given these real potentials, the threat and intimidation is even more terrifying.Those members of Congress who were concerned the Patriot Act would be misused should, in our opinion, demand a Special Prosecutor be appointed to investigate this misuse of power by Federal Judge Kent J. Dawson and Reuben Bugtong.
